High Sensitivity and High Reliability Close-fitting NTC Temperature Sensor

Most of the temperature sensors use a metal casing to protect the glass-sealed thermistor and encapsulate it with epoxy resin. Before use, the temperature sensor is installed on the set position of the base to measure the temperature of the heating body. However, this kind of temperature sensor is limited by the metal shell and epoxy resin with poor thermal conductivity, the temperature sensing distance is long, the temperature measurement error is large, and the measurement accuracy is not high; The sensor cannot work normally in a high temperature environment for a long time.

Therefore, a close-fitting temperature sensor is required, which can be in close contact with the object to be measured, has high temperature measurement accuracy and sensitivity, and is easy to install and use.

 The close-fitting temperature sensors are made as follows:


(1) Prepare the flat-head axial NTC glass-sealed thermistor 1;

(2) Cut the polyimide film 2 into a suitable size, the quantity is 2 pieces, put the NTC glass-sealed thermistor 1 in the middle of the two cut polyimide films 2, paste and synthesize, and make the NTC glass-sealed thermistor 1 The pins of the glass-sealed thermistor 1 are exposed by 3mm.

(3) Paste a piece of high-temperature-resistant silicone sponge 5 between the NTC glass-sealed thermistor 1 and the metal substrate 3, and weld it with the metal substrate 3 using a capacitive high-temperature welding process. 

(4) Snap the welded metal substrate 3 and the base 42 of the switch device 4 together to complete the assembly.

The close-fitting temperature sensor has the following advantages: the protection of the metal shell and epoxy resin is cancelled, and the polyimide film is used for encapsulation, which shortens the temperature sensing distance, and the temperature measurement accuracy and sensitivity are significantly improved. It can work normally in high temperature environment of ℃~200℃, and it is more in line with environmental protection requirements, which is more conducive to product sales; based on the structural design of the switch principle, the thermistor can be tightly attached to the object to be measured, and a metal substrate is used to install the thermal sensitive The resistance can further improve the heat conduction efficiency, and the use and operation are simple, convenient and practical; the special structure makes the installation and maintenance of the product convenient.
